| The Genie Skill system has gone through many changes in the latest Perfect World International patch.
Generally speaking, when players kill monsters or hand in quests Genies can gain EXP. While equipped, each Genie will gain 10% of the total XP gained. When their Genie reaches the same level as their characters, and the Genie reaches 99% of its current level, the 10% EXP gain will be disabled. In addition, the amount of skills a Genie is able to learn is not base upon the amount of Lucky Points their Genies have instead of the number of Magic Points they put into them.
